UIN develops training center
JAKARTA: Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN), in cooperation with the Communications and Information Ministry, is to develop an information training center (ICT) at its campus.
Representatives of the two institutions had recently witnessed the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the National Information Communication Technology Human Resources Development (NICT-HRD) building on the UIN campus.
When completed, the five-story building will be the biggest ICT training center in Southeast Asia.
The NICT-HRD Center at UIN is designed to be a human resources development and training center that will produce ICT experts and researchers.
It is hoped that graduates of the center will become agents of change in the communications and information sector. - JP
